Cyclists are among the most vulnerable road users – and how drivers share the space with them matters.

Data from Gloucestershire Road Safety Partnership shows that many serious incidents involving cyclists happen:

• With riders in the 41-to-69 age group
• At junctions and roundabouts
• During turns and manoeuvres
• Particularly in Spring and Summer  

Often it is small changes in awareness and observation that can make a life-saving difference.
