Thanks to funding from The Road Safety Trust, Road Safety GB has created a register of ADIs (Approved Driving Instructors) who have completed the Ageing Driver Training course, delivered by the RSGB Academy.

The purpose of the register is to support local authorities and national older driver scheme providers, as well as a list that potential clients can use to locate an ADI in their area.

Please note that this is a register of those ADI’s who have undertaken extra training in the needs of Mature and Older Drivers and is not an endorsement to them as an ADI.

The register is split by region.

The Ageing Driver Course is ideal for any ADI who wishes to learn more about how to support an older driver. The course is recommended by the Older Driver Task Force.

In 2023, thanks to funding from The Road Safety Trust, the Academy was able to offer 300 ADIs the opportunity to take the course free-of-charge.
