Gareth has worked in the road transport industry for over 25 years, from managing high volume freight distribution to specialist niche direct delivery services. More recently Gareth trained as an Approved Driving Instructor, running his own business before focusing on specialist driving assessments and training at Wessex DriveAbility. After many years assessing and carrying out tuition in adapted vehicles, Gareth now co-manages the Charity as well as continuing to assess.
A holder of full car, motorcycle and LGV licences, Gareth has a passion for driving together with a desire to increase road safety through greater awareness. Gareth is delighted to be part of the Older Drivers Forum and is keen to provide advice and guidance for older drivers to enable their continued mobility and to assist concerned family and friends with impartial professional advice when concerns over road safety are raised
